BTBU Successfully Conducted 2025 Summer Overseas Study and Exchange Programs

To deepen international cooperation and support BTBU’s "Double First-Class" development, the university organized four overseas study groups in July and August 2025. Teams visited Hertford College, University of Oxford (UK); Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Italy); University of Texas at Austin (USA); and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Hong Kong SAR). All groups successfully completed their programs and returned to campus.

From July 6 to July 19, sixteen students from the School of Business and the School of Food and Health participated in a two-week program at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. Building on the newly established China–Italy Academic Community, students took specialized courses in food science, explored European technologies and industry trends, and visited local food enterprises and production bases to gain professional practical experience.

From July 12 to August 9, three students from the School of Computer and Artificial Intelligence, School of Law, and School of Language and Communication attended a four-week program at the University of Texas at Austin. Students participated in case studies, group projects, lab visits, and cultural exchange activities with local peers.

From July 20 to August 3, twenty-eight students from nine schools joined the Summer Program at Hertford College, University of Oxford. BTBU and Hertford College have cooperated on this program for 18 consecutive years, integrating advanced business theory with global practice and providing students with extensive international exposure.

From July 20 to August 9, four students from the School of Economics, School of Computer and Artificial Intelligence, and School of Language and Communication attended the Summer School for Mainland Universities at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The program offered a range of courses and activities to broaden students’ international perspectives.

The successful implementation of these programs was supported by the Academic Affairs Office, Graduate School, Student Affairs Office, Youth League Committee, and participating schools. Students reported improved language skills, stronger professional knowledge, deeper cross-cultural understanding, and enhanced ability to share Chinese culture with international peers.
